Keep Your Brand Top of Mind with This One System
How do you keep top of mind with your customers so you’re always in front of them (especially when they’re ready to buy) and how do you keep talking about yourself when it's just so uncomfortable to talk about yourself?
If we're not talking about what we're offering, what we're doing, and the value for our customers, they're not going to be buying from us because we're not in front of them when they're ready to buy.
I use one system to keep top of mind … a content calendar. It sounds simple and it IS simple! I focus on one month at a time and plan out my marketing content so I know what I'll be posting and I don't have to make the decision every day. I can simply sit down for an hour, get the whole month planned, and then execute. I avoid decision fatigue or letting emotions get in the way (I don't feel like posting today). This makes it super simple.
I go through and mark out what we're doing every week. At our farm brewery, we release a new beer every week, so that drives our content.
There are three things that you need to consider:
Designate your topics (beer, chickens, produce…)
Choose your channels (Facebook, Instagram, Email…)
Decide on your content (pictures, graphics, text, video…)
Then plan it out.
Monday - create the content (take pics, make graphics, write blog…)
Tuesday - Post FB event, Insta post
Wednesday - Skip day
Thursday - Email our leads and customers
Friday - Post on FB, Insta Stories
Now, it's all laid out and I know exactly what I need to do each day eliminating the cycle of indecision and inaction.
This really streamlines it so you can move on to execution. That's not always easy but if you have a system and you have your time slotted out you can knock this stuff out and be in front of your customers all the time and sell more products!
